    Richard in Johannesburg

Richard's work is predominately available in the city he lives and works in, Cape Town. Richard's work is also available through dealers in Italy, Belgium and Switzerland.

Richard has held back on representation in Johannesburg, until now, as he did not find a suitable dealer to represent him, his approach or his product.
Charl Bezuidenhout, Richard's most prominent dealer, has made massive inroads and contributions to the art scene from his, quote "New York Style Gallery" in 54 Church Street, Cape Town.
Richard has chosen to align himself with art dealer Charl Bezuidenhout of Worldart, and open with a solo exhibition.

Charl Bezuidenhout, Richard's most prominent dealer, has made massive inroads and contributions to the art scene from his, quote "New York Style Gallery" in 54 Church Street, Cape Town.

"The Johannesburg gallery will be situated in Commissioner Street, where over the last two years, a significant amount of planning has gone into the rejuvenating of this part of city, otherwise known as the 'Financial District'. An initiative started by Urban Ocean, with support from the Johannesburg City Council, to improve this area resulted in a thorough clean-up operation, the installation of CCTV cameras and the restoration and re-designing of many buildings in the area. As a result this part of the city has slowly changed into an urban area with local and international up market appeal. We are optimistic and very excited about the potential that the immediate area holds for the future", says Charl Bezuidenhout.

"Having a gallery in Johannesburg will enable Worldart to provide a better and more dedicated service to our Johannesburg clientele while at the same time offering the artists whom we work with the opportunity to show their work in two of South Africa’s major cities."

Richard has also secured a dealer in the Netherlands and is negotiating with dealers in Miami, USA.
