APWC |
Artist Proof / Working Canvas. Richard does not believe in the concept of artist proofs. Modern artist are taking advantage of financial gain of an old tradition. None of Richards work, in all mediums, has any artist proofs. The absence of artist proofs makes the edition more exclusive. Richard will retain the APWC of MARS for communication with the buyers and future work which the buyers have fist access to. The APWC is and will never be for sale. The APWC will either be destroyed or donated to Sony/Ericsson. |
Artwork |
Artwork refers to the individually created images on the artwork. Each artwork was hand drawn and emailed for reproduction to giclee. |

The P900 has a resolution of 320 x 208 pixels with the flap open. With the flap closed the resolution is 208 x 208pixels. |
Giclee |
A print that is printed on specially coated cotton paper with light-fast inks by a digital printer. Not as refined as lithography but definitely taking advantage of the times. |

Piece refers to the entire artwork. It comprises the mobile itself, the 7 original Richard Scott's created on the phone. It also comprised the 7 giclee prints of the artwork and all other material on the mobile. |
